Tzuriel Pedigo, a junior at host LSU, placed second in the men's javelin throw final with a sixth-round effort of 257 feet (78.34m) at the Southeastern Conference Championships at Bernie Moore Track and Field Stadium in Baton Rouge. Pedigo, the 2021 NCAA Division 1 champion, produced a season-best performance and surpassed 78 meters for the second time in his career.
