Michaela Rose, a junior at LSU, won the fastest section of the women's invitational 800 meters in a lifetime-best 1:58.37 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium in Azusa, Calif. Rose improved on the No. 2 all-time collegiate outdoor performance after clocking 1:59.08 at Bryan Clay last year. She also equaled the No. 30 competitor in U.S. history. In addition, Rose triumphed in her section in the 1,500 meters in 4:14.82.
