Eric Edwards, Jr., a senior at LSU, placed second in the men's 110-meter hurdles final in a lifetime-best 13.15 seconds at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Edwards elevated to the No. 5 competitor in collegiate history, earning All-America first-team honors for the first time outdoors after placing eighth in the indoor 60-meter hurdles in March in Birmingham, Ala., and fifth in the 60 hurdles final last year in Arkansas.
